Throughout this excursion, Junior High students will have a unique opportunity to learn everything there is to know about life at sea. Students will not only leave the trip a proficient sailor, but they will have had fun, adventure and took on a new challenge!
The trip will run from June 13th to June 18th, 2016. Students will fly from Prague, to London, where they will take a train to Portsmouth Harbor and board the Tall Ships Challenger Yacht for their 4 night, 5 day voyage beginning the next morning. During this time, students will receive full safety training, sailing lessons in small sessions, be assigned tasks to help man the vessel, and even have some free time to enjoy life at sea. We will also port at various locations and students will be given time to explore the towns we port at.
Riverside graduates have been accepted to some of the most prestigious universities around the world.
