27 Junior High students and 4 teachers enjoyed a fabulous trip to Spain last week. It was a experience full of FOOD, FOOTBALL and FUN! Fernando was our personal Spanish guide and we walked many kilometres visiting the sights, sounds and tastes of Madrid. On Thursday, we took the high speed train and experienced the unusually high temperatures of Valencia. We enjoyed and learned so much during our visits to the Oceanographic and Science Museums but due to the abnormal 45 degree heat, we had to abandon our beach plan. Despite their initial disappointment, the students embraced the opportunity to splash in the pools surrounding the magnificent architecture in the City of Arts and Sciences.
The students were such good company and wonderful ambassadors for Riverside.
Gracias a todos por un gran viaje.
