Lego Robotics Club in the Primary School – Term 3
Kids love building with Lego, and in Robotics Club we take it to the next level. Here’s what we do: first, we vote on what we want to work on that day. Then break into small groups and build – we have enough kits to go round. Then, we use the Macs to write programs – that can make our creations do whatever we want. We use motors and various sensors, and an easy-to-use programming language. The best part is when students plug their projects in to the computers and run their programs. They see the robots really working – and they’re so excited! It’s a fun intro to technology.
