The Riverside Senior High Drama Department is proud to present an adaptation of George Orwell’s influential dystopian novel “1984.” It’s the story of Winston, a man who lives in the war-torn nation of Oceania (formerly Great Britain), where citizens are policed and brainwashed by an elite Inner Party and its ominous leader, Big Brother. It’s a grim existence; Winston and his love, Julia, must tow the party line or risk extermination.
