History & Geography
Judy recently moved to Prague with her husband Dean, daughter Clara, and their two dogs. After an initial legal career in DC and Seattle, she followed her dream of becoming a teacher, earning a Masters in Teaching from the University of Washington, and obtaining National Board Certification soon after. Since then, she has taught a variety of years and subjects in both public and independent schools. Most recently she taught and served as Head of Department for the Social Studies and History group at an independent middle school in Seattle. At Riverside, you can find Judy teaching either Year 7, 8, or 9 History, Geography, Computing, or Cookery. She enjoys board games, cooking and eating with friends and family, and (sometimes) running, hiking, cycling, or other forms of exercise.
Riverside graduates have been accepted to some of the most prestigious universities around the world.
