Laia is the Emotional Wellbeing Counsellor in Junior and Senior High. She started her career 12 years ago as a SEN teacher working along with social services in Barcelona. After completing her MA in Educational Psychology at the University of Barcelona, she worked in London, Singapore and most recently, in a large British International School in Shenzhen, as an Upper School Counsellor.
Outside of work, Laia enjoys travelling with her husband Carles, hiking, playing tennis and has a passion for musical theatre. She is very excited to join Riverside and to discover and explore what Prague and the Czech countryside has to offer.
