Matthew, with his wife Sophie, came to Riverside from Bristol in the UK. He previously taught English and Film Studies at a large British school, where he had a role overseeing the GCSE part of the English curriculum. Prior to becoming a teacher, Matthew spent a number of years working with young people for a large Anglican Church. Alongside teaching, Matthew enjoys mid-long distance running, playing the guitar and hiking. Matthew is in his second year at Riverside.
